It never ceases to amaze me which posts become the most read and widely spread. They cover what I consider to be the basics that I thought most people understood pretty well. I wrote them for the brand spanking new preppers. Honestly, I didn't think they'd get much play at all--like maybe I shouldn't even have written them--and yet they were three of the most popular.
The popularity of Duct Tape Suture in a Straw did not surprise me. It's got kind of a universal appeal--duct tape, wound management, compact for bug-out bags, DIY. The fact that you're closing a gaping wound without using a needle (with the potential for introducing infection), and without inflicting pain and wanting or needing anesthesia, is huge. Who wouldn't love that?
The Alternative Uses of Benadryl and Skin Preps and Washes were also pretty widely read. There really is a lot to absorb in both of those articles.
Anyway, I thought I'd post the Top Ten Prep School Daily posts so that you could see what your fellow preppers were most interested in reading and sharing. Maybe there's something you missed. And maybe you'll also look at this list and shake your head and wonder why.
